August 2026 Work Weekend Wrap-up

Between running kids off to college and shopping for other back-to-school supplies, GHH had 24 people come out during our August work weekend! God is good! Our gracious volunteers worked on four different homes over the weekend, and were able to help families with several different projects including:

Building a wheel-chair ramp for Raymond
Removing carpet and installing a wheelchair friendly flooring for John & Linda
Continuing flooring repair and placement for Cassie
Installing safety handrails for Dorothy

Thank you to all of those who were able to help out. You are truly the hands and feet of the Lord!

Because of my leg amputation and mobility difficulties, getting in and out of my home was challenging and unsafe. The volunteers did an amazing job building a safer entrance for my home. I truly appreciate everything God's Helping Hands did for me and my family. Thank you to all the volunteers and supporters who made this possible.
